An amazing and unusual combination of an historical love affair and blackmail set against a background of seriously deranged psycopathic serial murderer Dr Severus Black which is very cleverly incorporated into the story set in Philadelphia of 1791.
A real gripping tale , i was unable to put it down until it was completely finished .
Being a real history enthusiast i love historical novels so had to try this one and was definitley not disappointed .
Dr Severus Black the murderer was excellently incorporated into the story by Brian L Porter i was enthralled from start to finish . This seriously deranged individual who had moved from Paris to escape capture murders female servants .while Mrs Reynolds and Mr Hamilton have a love affair and her husband tries blackmail . Something for everyone .
Well worth five stars . I recommend buying this novel . Brilliant combined effort between Diana and Brian
